Wardrobe doesn’t have to be expensive, but it does have to project quality:
As noted, have at least a few key staples such as a couple of pairs of professional-looking slacks, skirts, button-up long sleeve shirts, suit tops, etc.
Get your clothes professionally tailored:
I’ve been guilty of this too — buying pants that are too long, too baggy, too tight, etc — all to avoid a $10 trip to the tailors to have something customized to my shape.
Adopt a signature item:
This isn’t essential, as the other three are. However, it’s not a bad idea. Leave the fanny packs at home though — please!
