Of course some of those listed are a little harsh and could cause one to mislabel themselves.
For instance:
- If you find small talk boring, you might secretly be an introvert: I’m not sure I agree with this one. Though it is a common personality trait with most introverts. However, some people just have higher expectations from the conversations they have with people.
- In the same vain, if you find networking to be fake, you might be an introvert: Well, networking is fake isn’t it? I mean, the end goal is to create authentic relationships, most of us have to go through the new meeting “ring-a-mo-rang” of small talk, phony smiles, forced eye contact, etc., in order to get there. Don’t we?
