Not bad…
- 5.9 inch screen, 1920×1080
- 2.2 GHz snapdragon quad
- 2 GB ram
- Choice of 16, 32, 64 GB storage
- Cameras: 12 Mp rear, 2 Mp front
- LTE, NFC, dual-band
- Logo on back doubles as a power button (very sleek!)
- Rumored built-in pedometer
- Rumored price ~$400 US
- Rumored to contain “brand new” droid OS release!
The X2 certainly promises to be a contender. Love the near Phab-size screen in full 1080p. Funny how every droid manufacturer always seems to make their screen just a hair larger than the current iPhones, hunh?
The 2.2 GHzsnapdragon sure isn’t an octacore, but the jury’s still out on their performance advantages offered by the 8 cores, so I’ll take what’s proven itself in the multitasking arena for now.
Rumored price? Most of you won’t care, since you’ll be trading in/signing a contract anyway. Still, you now the 64 Gb will still be cheaper than the 32 GB iPhone 6, of which the rumored value is set between $600 – $800. Definitely something to think on if you like to go sans-contract like me!
Hmmm. The newest Android OS coming out with the X2? I’m kinda neutral on this one. Whenever a new release comes out, it seems to take away the options I love, and put in new ones that I could do without.
Will you be standing in line on September 4, or do you have something else in mind?
