Have you watched this commercial ad from Apple, titled “Misunderstood”? If you haven’t please do watch it as the video ad has been touted as the best ad in 2013, and it’s just confirmed officially as one, as the ad has won 2014 Emmy Award for best commercial at the Creative Arts Emmys.
The ad is about a young man who is so busy with his iPhone, that he seemed not to care and miss all the fun the whole family enjoys. He “allegedly” prepared the best Christmas present by recording the happy moments for the whole family members to enjoy. He is misunderstood, indeed.
Heartwarming. It deserves the recognition.
This ad is, indeed, one of the best brand storytelling campaign of all, in my opinion. What do you think?
