I found this infograph the other day, which was put together late last year to predict Internet marketing trends and how they would affect business this year:
So there’s plenty of knowledge drops here in the WebDAM infograph.
Here’s a few that I found interesting:
- Emails with social sharing buttons increased clickthrough rates by 158% — Would be even more interesting if we knew more about the types of emails and whether the traffic was warm or cold, but still interesting.
- 52% of all marketers have found a customer on Facebook — That’s pretty incredible when you think of the sheer number of marketers spending ad money on that platform each and every day!
- Visual data is processed 60,000 times faster than text (and 65% of your audience are digital learners — Guess that’s why infographs have become so successful hunh?
Here’s an interesting TechCrunch article for those of you who want to brush up on the current predictions for 2014 and beyond regarding the global ad spend: http://techcrunch.com/2014/04/07/internet-ad-spend-to-reach-121b-in-2014-23-of-537b-total-ad-spend-ad-tech-gives-display-a-boost-over-search/
