Gender inequality still exists in today’s world. Women are still labeled negatively when they are doing what men are doing – this also holds true in the business world.
This Pantene Philippines commercial visualizes the gender bias pretty well. A well-dressed businessman is often perceived as “smooth,” whereas a well-dressed businesswoman is often perceived as “show-off.” On office, a businessman who leads is labeled as “boss.” Women? “Bossy.”
