According to Gary Vaynerchuk – also known as Gary Vee – a successful entrepreneur, prolific speaker and intriguing author, the answer is (drumroll, please…): Charities!
That’s right – Gary Vaynerchuk told the audience during the launch of his latest book, Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook, that charities are social media’s worst brands. This might sounds harsh, but that’s the reality. Gary mentioned that he was approached by several charities, tweeting to him asking for donating his money – even without saying hello!
Okay, I understand that social media is often a cold, dark place for people who want to converse on a personal level, but that’s too much don’t you think? Unfortunately, charities do that.
Here’s what Gary Vee suggests: You should romancing your target audience first before you show your true intention.
Point well taken, Gary. Thanks for pointing that out! What do you think about Gary Vee’s arguments: Do you agree or disagree?
