When an inmate leaves prison, they basically have three choices for work: 1) Low-paying job, probably working for an employer who doesn’t care about or value/respect them., 2) Resort to illegal means to make money, such as robbery and drug dealing., 3) Start a business and working for themselves. San Quentin Prison is helping to steer them toward #3.
