It was only a matter of time everyone. This WiFi-controlled device, called “Wi See” looks really cool. It basically allows you to program the control center with hand-swipe gestures (i.e., the Doppler Effect), which you can then use to control any electronically-controlled device in your home or office.
The unit allows for up to 5 separate users in the same area at once!
The possibilities go far beyond turning lights off and on like the legendary “Clapper” of the 80’s and 90’s.

The video makes it look like the range is quite limited currently. However, you’d only need to be near the receiver, the devices you can control with it can be anywhere. And I imagine as they nail the tech down better, the range will easily get up to a hundred, or hundreds of feet in no time.
Imagine sitting at your computer or living room area, and you want a cup of tea. Just wave your hand and the kettle will boil itself for you. Or you walk in the door and want to fire up your desktop, or immediately get some relaxing tunes going…
I’d say my imagination is a little limited though.
