Check out this commercial for these Hibou’s and tell me that technology isn’t spiraling out of control.
While these things look cool, I can’t help but worry that they might warp kids minds a bit. I mean, it’s one thing to pretend feeding a doll with plastic cutlery and food items, but slipping a cupcake to one through a droid just seems like it’s pushing it a bit.
I realize these dolls are more versatile than that, but I guess the old-fashioned side of me just wants to see Cabbage Patch Dolls and Easy-Bake Ovens make a comeback.
What do you think. Isn’t this just another step toward de-socializing our kids?
