While all the details are yet to be released, the Estar Takee 1 and its Eye-Tracking Technology shows a lot of promise over the Amazon Fire’s limited Dynamic Perspective feature.

So the people that make the Takee 1 are promising that their smartphone will incorporate the holographic 3D effect into video calls (yay), gameplay, movie watching, and most of the available apps.
Currently, the Amazon Fire is under “Fire” by critics who say that it’s very underwhelming: clunky, lacks app support, and is otherwise too expensive.
Most everything, feature-wise, matches up between the Takee and Fire: ram, storage, megapixels, battery size, and screen resolution.
Processor
However, the Takee promises a 2ghz “Mediatech” octa-core processor, over the Fire’s 2.2ghz “Snapdragon” quad. The jury’s still out on whether an 8-core actually offers better performance over the 4’s (outside of gameplay) when it comes to the average home or business user. Still, the Mediatech octas are getting plenty of fanfare in techie-land and it’s only a matter of time before they’re the industry standard.
Takee 1 has a Phab screen
The screen size on the Takee is also much bigger than the Fire, coming in at 5.5″ over the Fire’s 4.7″. The Fire’s pretty darned big, but the 5.5″ Takee has “Phablet” written all over it!
The phone debuted in China about a month ago.
When will it hit North America and beyond?
Not fast enough, right?
