It’s really cool to see Vail Horton’s positive mindset at work in this short video. It’s no surprise he started a successful corporation that not only generates profits, but also raises money for non-profits:

One could make the argument that Vail had an unfair advantage when it came to deciding what to do with his life. His disabilities gave him something worthwhile to be passionate about. Not to mention that the medical equipment industry is VERY profitable!
What I gleaned most from the video was his mindset and personality. To imagine waking up in the morning and have two working legs and arms, and yet still feel like everyone else has all the advantages in life…
… well, you’d have to feel rather selfish if you were to compare yours to Vail’s situation. Yet he’d probably be the type to smile and empathize with anyone, without pointing out his own limitations.
