“Impossible!” “No, you can’t” “Too short” are some of the words heard by Tyrone “Muggsy” Bogues on a daily basis during his basketball career. At 5’3″ (1.6m) it’s easy to deem him as “too short” to play pro basketball.
But Mr. Bogues proves them all wrong. He entered the NBA with the Washington Bullets in 1987 as a rookie – and the shortest NBA player in history, and throughout his 15 seasons in the NBA, he continued to prove the haters wrong.
Watch some actions from Mr. Bogues basketball career:
Simply extraordinary. Even many 6’6″ NBA players can’t play well. But at 5’3″? Amazing. Many have said that if – just if – Muggsy was 6’4″, he’ll be the best in the NBA.
But then again, his so-called “limitations” has made him who he is – someone with a big heart.
Agreed?
