Coca-Cola has recently launched yet another happiness campaign – this time, in the UAE. This ad campaign touches the hardship experienced by labourers in the UAE. With the low pay, they can hardly make a call to their home towns, as the call costs a hefty amount per minute.
Coca-Cola decided to share some moments of happiness by setting up the Hello Happiness Phone Booths. The phone booths offer 3 minutes of international calls in exchange of Coca-Cola bottle caps, instead of coins.
A brilliant idea. The campaign lasted only for a month, unfortunately. It would be a great solution to real world problem. Perhaps a great idea for budding social entrepreneurs?
